Grounds Maintenance Specialists Ltd (GMS Ltd) specialise in landscaping and sports pitch maintenance with a wide array of machinery, the latest technology and trained staff to suit all maintenance needs. They have been maintaining commercial grounds, school grounds and sports pitches in the North East of England since 1997.

With over 42 staff members they operate from 2 depots across the North East with the main office and depot being in Cramlington, their additional site at West Boldon.

WA management have helped to increase the visibility of health and safety within the business, implementing an auditing schedule which includes site-based audits which were not previously undertaken.

This schedule has been utilised alongside annual health and safety awareness training days to engage workers and improve the safety culture overall.

Learning from increased accident and near miss reporting has lead to the team having a better understanding of health and safety processes.
