How did you end up working at WA Management?
I previously studied Business Management and Economics at Nottingham Trent University, graduating the year I joined WA Management.
During my studies, I was introduced to health and safety legislation, and the understanding of this from a management perspective.
Whilst studying I worked as a customer assistant in a supermarket, where my eyes were further opened to the world of health and safety. I found this aspect of learning about and identifying risks very interesting and so began exploring this avenue of work during my final year of studying when applying to graduate roles. And that is where I fell upon the Trainee SHEQ Consultant role at WA Management.
What are you working on at the moment?
I am currently working towards my NEBOSH General Certificate.
What do you like to do in your spare time?
I enjoy staying active and going to the gym – occasionally taking part in a spin class, but instantly regret this the morning after! I like to spend as much time as I can with friends, this normally involves a pub however.
